What’s our Purpose

Mahanprasad - Happiness

Your mind is a master storyteller, spinning endless plots—some profound, some absurd—all in a relentless quest for a happy ending. But what if happiness wasn’t a chase, a relentless seeking. Imagine if it could be effortlessly held onto forever.

Happiness, in the teachings of  Satyananda Yoga tradition, is sustained through balance, anchoring the mind in awareness, and opening the heart to acceptance. Guided by the teachings of Swami Satyananda Saraswati the Bihar School methodology is to question deeply, and to act mindfully, with happiness as both your compass and your destination.

At Seeking Yogi, the core purpose is Manas Prasad - sustenance of happiness, a state to uncover and cultivate.

If you don't want to cry
Then learn how to laugh.
How? You will find the way.

Our Methodology - Yoga Chakra

At Seeking Yogi, we invite you to step into the wisdom of the Yoga Chakra (Wheel of Yoga) as our
guiding principle. To imbibe the 6 paths of yoga as a lifestyle for an experience of completeness.

Hatha

bio-energetic discipline

Raja

purifying consciousness, dissolving impressions.

Kriya

transformation of psychic energy

Karma

creative expression in action

Bhakti

connecting with purity of emotion

Jnana

purifying the personality

At the center of this wheel is our inner self, the stillness at our core where transformation begins. The six spokes represent the diverse paths of yoga – hatha (bio-energetic discipline), raja (purifying consciousness, dissolving impressions.) and kriya (transformation of psychic energy), karma (creative expression in action), bhakti (connecting with purity of emotion) and jnana (purifying the personality). The rim symbolizes a lifestyle grounded in yamas and niyamas (foundational values for a fulfilled life), creating a strong foundation for balance and harmony.
What propels this wheel? Happiness – manas prasad.

At Seeking Yogi we balance dynamic yoga asana sessions and meditative practices resting on yoga vidya – the knowledge that underpins the practice. Through knowledge workshops, mantra chanting and study groups, we illuminate the purpose behind life’s momentum, each movement and every action, fostering an attitude towards one’s practice (abhyaas). We embrace yoga as a way of lifestyle, weaving its principles as a daily rhythm.

Whether you seek physical vitality, mental clarity, or spiritual growth, we provide the tools, guidance, and support to help you turn your wheel of life, with happiness as the biggest form of gratitude.

Welcome to the path of a Seeking Yogi.

“As you journey through this space, it’s my voice guiding you, like a steady current beneath the surface, narrating the stories of my people. Here, wisdom unfolds as lived experiences—yours, mine, and the ones yet to be written.”
